Program Phases
Phase 1 — Foundation
The Foundation phase introduces students to the structure of the medical programme, to early clinical exposure, and to AETCOM — attitude, ethics and communication. It establishes the study routine and academic expectations that the rest of the programme is built on.
Phase 2 — Pre-Clinical & Para-Clinical Integration
The curriculum integrates pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects which enables students to understand clinical and theoretical concepts simultaneously. This approach is structured — it is not accelerated.
Phase 3 — Clinical Foundation
Phase 3 is centred on clinical training-related subjects that form the basis for later clinical practice and real-world medical training.
Phase 4 — Clinical Rotations
Clinical rotations take place in government hospitals in partner institutions. The timelines are structured by the institution and are supervised throughout.
Phase 5 — Advanced Clinical & Specialties
Students complete clinical rotations across specialties, including Ophthalmology, ENT, Emergency, Community Medicine, etc. These rotations constitute a significant part of the clinical education.
Phase 6 — Campus Integration
Project work, research submissions, remaining pre-clinical topics, University Exams, Practical Exams, and final university assessment take place during this phase.

FMGL Regulations 2021 – Key Rules Explained

| Single Location Rule | Same Institution | The entire 54 months of study AND the 12 months of internship MUST be completed in the exact same university/country. Split programs are banned. |
| Medium of Instruction | 100% English | The entire course of study and examinations must be in English. Bilingual programs (e.g., 3 years English, 3 years Russian) are completely invalid. |
| Registration Equivalency | Parity with Local Citizens | Your degree must grant you the legal right to register as a medical practitioner in the country where you studied, on par with a citizen of that country. |
